• DEPOSIT: One night deposit will be charged to the credit card at the time of booking.


• SMOKING: As this is a smoke free complex. Please smoke outside away from open windows, doors or other guests, especially children.
• In the event of someone having smoked in a non-smoking room we will engage a specialist cleaning company and charge a fee of $350 - $500 for the cleaning of the room.
• Extra person charges may apply.

48 Hour Cancellation Policy and Cancellation Fees
• Cancellations or changes to booking must be made 48 hours prior to the check in date and time or you will be charged the FULL AMOUNT of the booking.


• No-Show Policy: If you have not notified us of your Cancellation in time you fail to show up at the property, YOU WILL BE CHARGED THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE BOOKING.

At Balonne River Motor Inn, we strive to maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for all guests. To ensure this, we kindly ask all guests and booking agents to take care of our property and follow the guidelines below.


1. Responsibility for Damages

Guests are responsible for any loss, damage, or excessive cleaning required due to their actions, negligence, or misconduct during their stay.
If a booking is made by a company or third-party organisation, that entity will be held responsible for any costs incurred as a result of their guest’s behaviour.


2. Smoking Policy

All rooms are strictly non-smoking. Evidence of smoking inside a room will result in a cleaning and deodorising fee between $350 - $500, charged to the guest or the company that made the booking.


3. Extra Cleaning or Biohazard Fees

If a room or facility requires specialised cleaning for example, due to bodily fluids, urination, or misuse of facilities an additional cleaning or sanitisation fee between $250 and $500 will apply.
These fees cover professional sanitation, replacement of damaged bedding or materials, and temporary room closure if required.


4. Pool and Common Areas

Guests must maintain proper hygiene and behaviour in shared areas such as the swimming pool. Any contamination, vandalism, or damage caused in these areas may result in additional cleaning or repair charges.


5. Payment and Invoicing

All damage or extra cleaning charges will be documented and invoiced to the responsible guest or the company that made the booking. Payment is required within 7 days of the invoice date.


6. Refusal of Service

The motel reserves the right to refuse accommodation or future bookings to guests or organisations that breach these policies.
